Psalm 107:29-31 (NIV)

Throughout Psalm 107 we read accounts of the Israelites rebelling against God, having trouble, repenting, and God being merciful to them and restoring their blessings. Our God is indeed merciful, and truly His mercies are new every morning, as Lamentations 3:22–23 promises. Consider this beautiful scripture in its entirety: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness (ESV).

When we wake up each day, a fresh supply of God’s mercy is available to us. I am so thankful that God’s mercy never runs out, and I am sure you are too.

Let us give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for us. We could never thank God too often for His mercy, forgiveness, and kindness to us. We should never forget these blessings but always keep in mind that we would be destroyed if it were not for God’s kindness and favor.

Prayer of the Day: Father, thank You for mercy and Your unfailing love. Thank You for Your extreme patience with me and for restoring me over and over again. I ask that my mouth would always be filled with thanksgiving for You.
