Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8

For centuries, travelers crossed oceans and deserts using the North Star. The stars around it seem to wheel across the sky night after night, and the seasons change from spring to summer to autumn to winter. Yet Polaris remains fixed, providing a point of reference for those trying to find their way.
Perhaps God designed it that way to remind us of the stability Jesus Christ brings to our lives in every season and circumstance, no matter where we are. Every single thing in this universe—both seen and unseen—is changeable and changing. But God says in Malachi 3:6, “I am the Lord, I do not change.” And James 1:17 adds, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
If you’re entering a new season of life, enter it with the One who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Man at his best is but a creature of eclipses and changes, fits and starts, ups and downs, high tide and low ebb, but the glory of God shines with a fixed brightness.
